Cumbum, a triangular valley tucked between the mountains of the Western Ghats and plains of Tamil Nadu is dotted with resplendent hills and cascading waterfalls echoing bursts of pristine nature in every direction. Cumbum Valley enjoys an invigorating climate ideal for grape cultivation and harvest throughout the year. The state of the art winery spread over 300 acres nestling amidst the foothills is the brainchild of Mr.R.Ragu the CEO, MD of SBM Group (P) Ltd. The winery project took nearly 9 years to manifest. Mr.Ragu’s sensibilities towards agriculture, his passion for the art of wine making drove him to realize this dream project which benefits the local farmers of the region multifold. Cumbum’s favorable local conditions provide the intense fruity flavors in grapes required for mouth watering tastes and enjoyable wines.
